Crop Circle Season 2006
It's been a very slow start to the Crop Circle Season this year (for the Northern Hemisphere). Formations usually begin appearing mid-May and mainly in and around Southern England - near Stonehenge (the world's 'hot-spot' for Crop Formations).
So far though, all we've got from England is one or two dismal formations and one obvious hoax (to promote a newspaper no less - The Wiltshire Gazette).
Australia (QLD) actually had the first Crop Formation for the year. Simple circles appeared in late March around the Maleny/Conondale area (100 kms north of Brisbane)
It's Italy currently leading the way with two substantial formations appearing in the last ten days - the most recent one representing the geometrical symbol of a "Vesica Pisces“ – two overlapping rings with the intersection flattened.

The 2006 English Crop Formations 'season' is now well & truly underway...and this spectacular design came down just yesterday (June 30th), in Wiltshire, Southern England.
Warning ~ It's a bit of an eye-wobbler...
Does anyone remember that fantastic old TV show - 'Time Tunnel'? This design kinda reminds me of the tunnel used in that show.

Cream Of The Crop 4 July...
After an incredibly slow start to the Crop Circles 'season' (for 2006)...The phenomenon has really stepped up this month.
Check out the amazing origami-like, ascending buildings of July 8; the spectacular, feathered bird (also July 8); the flower of July 2nd; and the return of the pictograms from the early 1990s (on July 6th). The 4th of July's atom design looks a little suss to me but is still impressive nonetheless (one point for effort anyway).

Crop Formations of the past two weeks:
*The Fool.
On the 28th of July, a Crop Formation appeared in Southern England that many have dubbed: The Fool (Tarot Card) Formation.

'The Fool represents the "every person" - the essence of us all embarking on the journey of life, self-discovery and mastery. He is the innocent, the whimsical, the "inner child" mixed with the "inner sage" that lives down deep inside of us all. He faces life and his journey unafraid, trusting that every experience has a deep essential meaning. He traipses along the crags of life, regardless of any hidden peril or disappointment, his eyes are turned to the heavens and he knows that he will be kept safe and whole along his travels. Key words associated with the Fool are new beginnings, important decisions and optimism.
The Fool is sometimes known as the most worthless card, yet paradoxically, also as the most valuable one. He is the first and the last, the alpha and the omega. It represents both the fledgling beginner and the adept master. The Fool reminds us of things, sacred things, that we have forgotten or repressed. The Fool knows his or her own ignorance, thus is seen as the most wise.
The Fool is the ultimate "Free Spirit" - this card represents the self-actualized person, free from societal constraints, someone who is able to let go of outmoded beliefs and ideals with the courage to pursue their own special path.'

*The Grail.
On August the 5th, a peculiar formation came down (this time to the surprise of many, in Scotland) representing, what many feel to be a cup or Grail - with orbs falling into it. There also appears to be an attached 'sperm' - symbolising a re-birth or possibly a spiritual birth or awakening of some kind.

Time Wormholes?
Five wormhole-type crop pictures have appeared so far in 2006: Avebury Trusloe, Savernake Forest, New Barn, Old Hayward, and Blowingstone.
The first two, Avebury Trusloe (or Savernake Forest), showed two (or four) ordinary wormholes which had been placed into a special arrangement known as the "Roman ring" (named after Tom Roman, an American cosmologist). That particular arrangement is theoretically supposed to allow wormholes to be used for time travel.
Yet wormholes come in several different categories! An ordinary wormhole might have the symmetry of a sphere; whereas a slightly more complex version might have the symmetry of a Torus or doughnut; and yet another more complex version might have the symmetry of a Klein bottle.
The third crop picture to appear, New Barn, seems to represent one of the second category: it is called a "ring hole", and has the symmetry of a Torus or doughnut.
The fourth picture at Old Hayward showed two curved yet distant regions of spacetime, being connected by two singularites, so as to form an ordinary spherical wormhole.
Finally, the fifth crop picture at Blowingstone does not show any "rings" to indicate category; but it does show the highly curved or "pointed" structure of spacetime, through which a ringhole may act theoretically as a time-travel device (Pedro Gonzalez-Diaz , Physical Review D68, 084016, 2003).
From 'Physical Review': "It is speculated that a ring hole could be converted into a time machine."
A "diagonal checkerboard" patterning of crops was seen at both at Blowingstone and Old Hayward. Evidently the crop artists wish us to understand that they deal with similar themes.
By drawing Blowingstone, the crop artists seem to be telling us that spacetime is not always "flat": sometimes it may be highly "pointed" or curved, thereby offering the opportunity for clever wormhole-technologists to travel across vast expanses of space or time, without having to worry about a locally finite speed of light c.

A door to an alternative dimension? A wormhole to a parallel Universe? This latest profusion of formations all seem to be pointing in a similar direction. We read all about black holes, string theory, ten dimensions, many universes etc, etc. It is really wonderful to see and appreciate these latest thought provoking works in the wheat fields of Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. A doorway to a new perception perhaps?
It seems that some kind of strong message is being sent for us to absorb quickly, since there have been at least five quite similar patterns coming up in the formations.
I just recently began educating myself about black holes and such things like ‘nothing’, ‘the void’, etc. and came across a diagram which reminded me of the June 30th formation at Avebury Trusloe. Then for fun I thought I would colour in the alternate concentric rings to see how it would compare. The result has an uncanny resemblance to the formation!!

The Einstein-Rosen bridge connects two different universes. Einstein believed that any rocket that entered the bridge would be crushed, thereby making communication between these two universes impossible. However, more recent calculations show that travel through the bridge might be very difficult, but perhaps possible. (Kaku, Michio. So far in my research, I have found that the black hole phenomena has a lot to do with our perception of space time, matter and gravity. Perhaps we are approaching a new experience and understanding about “life, the universe and everything” (Douglas Adams. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy).

Now, for a comparison...another design appeared just three days ago - a 'map' of our Solar System. Crudely executed with many glaring inconsistencies, this obvious hoax really goes to make the 'genuine' ones all the more breathtaking...
